We are a NATA accredited Laboratory that offers services in the field of Laboratory Mechanical Testing for laboratories Australia-wide. Our staff have over 35 years combined experience in HEPA air filtration and contamination control equipment and all our service technicians are approved NATA signatories.

NATA is a world recognised testing authority and, before accreditation, each laboratory must undergo a rigorous audit to ensure they operate strictly in accordance with the terms of registration. The laboratory must demonstrate that it performs all test procedures to Australian Standards and that its staff are technically and administratively competent to undertake the work. Test equipment must be subjected to regular calibration and a comprehensive record system for all testing work and certificate issue must be carefully maintained.

Even after accreditation laboratories are regularly audited by NATA personnel to ensure testing standards are maintained.

When should you enlist services of the LAF Technologies NATA accredited laboratory?

As a guide Laf Technologies recommend that safety cabinets, work stations and clean rooms should be inspected, tested and certified at least once per year (depending on usage) or :

When equipment is installed on site or relocated and prior to use
Immediately after the equipment has undergone any electrical or mechanical maintenance work
After replacement of filter(s)
As required under by the organisation's GMP Code or external regulatory authority
Under special circumstance, eg, significant change in work programme

If there is any doubt that the equipment is not operating to accepted standard it should be ISOLATED IMMEDIATELY AND TESTED BEFORE CONTINUING TO OPERATE!

LAF Technologies issue a fully documented test report and Certificate of Compliance that includes details of the test procedures and equipment (and its calibration reference) used, analysis of test data and the nature of any repairs and/or adjustments made to the equipment. Where appropriate Laf Technologies also report any recommendations we may have for future action. Any replacement parts installed during the testing process are selected to be at least equivalent to those specified for the original installation.
